Goral Vodka Masters Competition

Submitted by: Henry Hutton

Bartenders from across the UK have been selected to take part in the Goral Vodka Masters of Master International Bartender Competition. The top three will win places in the global final in Bratislava in Slovakia in January 2018.

The theme of the competition is “forest heritage” and the judges will be looking for the bartenders to create an inspired recipe. It calls on them to “walk through a woodland and get closer to nature by foraging for your own cocktail ingredients”. The theme is inspired by the home of Goral Vodka Master, Slovakia, which is known for its rich natural heritage, with forests covering around 40% of the country.

The event will be held at Dry Martini in London on 27th November and one of the judges is a legend in the cocktail scene, Javier de las Muelas, founder of the original Dry Martini bar in Barcelona.

The international final will take place on 25th January 2018 during the Danubius Gastro International Fair at the Incheba Expo Bratislava, with bartenders competing for the title of Goral Vodka Master 2018.
